For The Sake Of The Gospel

It has been very hard for most of my friends to understand what I am going through. A lot of them, even as Christ followers aren't able to grasp the idea that I am giving up all my ambitions, dreams and hopes for the sake of God's greater purpose and plan. No, it is not easy and there are some days where I would think to myself of how committing my life to Jesus Christ would turn out to be something like this. I can truly say that this is God's way to tell me that not only will He impact the lives of those I minister to, but even with those I speak/share with. For those reading, though your journey may be a lot different from mine, it does not mean that your "mission field" has less meaning. The only thing you need to remember whether you are at home/work/school, is that Christ is included, not excluded. Whatever you are doing, it is He-centered, not me-centered.

Philippians 3:7

But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ.
